Save good food instead of throwing it away! At the Food Save Market, we bring surplus food from local producers right into the heart of Murten's old town – and at the same time support the Cooking School 2030.

About the event
Too good to throw away: Together with local producers, we rescue surplus local organic vegetables and other foodstuffs and bring them to the old market square in front of the Berntor gate near the old town.
From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, you can come by, discover rescued food, and support our Cooking School 2030 project with your purchase. There, we are developing new formats together with cooking teachers and young people, focusing on food conservation, sustainable nutrition, and the kitchen of the future.
The market takes place as part of the nationwide Volonterra weekend in Switzerland and is organized by the COOLINARIK association.
Come along, rescue good food and support the promotion of sustainable and healthy nutrition for young people.
